Under the Nice classification used by the USPTO, pasta, noodles (including instant noodles and ramen), rice, rice cakes, couscous, tortillas and most dumplings are class 030. Prepared meals built mainly on pasta, noodles or rice also usually sit in class 030, while meals based mainly on meat, fish or vegetables lean to class 029.
