Food & beverage trademark filings by attorney of record this week
Trademark counsel with food, beverage, or restaurant clients: this is a counsel-angle skim of Wet Ink’s pull for filing dates 2026-09-21 → 2026-09-28 across Nice classes 029–033 & 043. It shows which attorneys of record filed two or more F&B marks that week, and how many new filings list no attorney at all, broken out by class. The week in numbers
- 121 of 200 filings in our pull (60%) list an attorney of record. 79 (40%) list none, which usually means the applicant filed on their own.
- 89 different attorneys of record appear. 71 of them filed exactly one F&B mark in the pull; 18 filed two or more (together 50 serials).
- Class 033 (wine & spirits) had the highest share with an attorney (85%). Class 043 (restaurant & café services) had the lowest (54%), so close to half of new restaurant-name filings in the pull list no counsel.
- Honest limits: the public search returned 200 rows of the 1,138 F&B-class filings the USPTO index reported for the window, so every number here is “within our 200-row pull,” not the whole register. Multi-class applications count once per class in the class table.
